THE FUSION NEST

[Cozy Edition]

Sept 26-28, 2025
Busca, Piemonte, Italia (near Torino)

The Fusion Nest and Motley Hue invite you to an immersive weekend of fusion dance in the mountains of Cuneo.

Fusion dance is a constantly evolving form, born from the encounter between different partner dance techniques and movement languages.

It is not a defined style, but an open space of research, listening and dialogue through movement.

It’s a space of Freedom.

It’s a space of Creativity.

It’s a space of Responsibility.

And because there is no set patterns you have to know, it’s a space to dive even deeper into the many dance techniques of connecting to each other.

Until recently, Turin had no fusion dance community. Now, a vibrant new family has sparked with energy and curiosity! Guided by Flouer, who lives in Turin, it reflects the core values of her organisation, Motley Hue: connecton, creativity through strong technique, and personal expression.

The Fusion Nest and Motley Hue are coming together this time to unite our community with a global vision. The Fusion Nest (“Cozy Edition” because we want to stay relatively small!) brings together our local community with international teachers, DJs, and dancers, building a nest that’s both cozy and open to the world… 🪺

  • Over the course of the two night, three-day retreat, the heart of the experience will be six hours of class with Flouer on Saturday and Sunday, dedicated to fusion dance.
  • Days will begin with morning yoga practices and continue with nature explorations and shared relaxation time.
  • In the evening, dancing continues: every night, social dances with carefully selected DJ sets will offer moments of connection and exploration.
  • We’ll cook and share delicious meal together, surrounded by nature’s beauty.
  • Check out the full schedule below details.
  • Additionally, the weekend will open with an introductory fusion class by Marianne on Friday evening, and on Saturday night Cristina Lucia Da Ponte will offer a contact workshop followed by an open jam.

Policies & Codes of Conduct

Osservatorio P.U.S.H. is a rural co-living project rooted in values of collectivity, sustainability, and freedom of expression which blends local and international energies to host non-conventional festivals, performances, and creative residencies.
One year ago, The Fusion Nest was born right here, in this beautiful space nestled in the Alps, surrounded by woods and filled with spaces for gathering, dancing, and dreaming together.

Imagine gazing at the sunrise, sipping tea after a night of dancing… it’s an experience you will remember.

We’ll be living collectively and simply, in a rustic but welcoming setting. Our sleeping setup is simple, cozy and communal.

If you’re getting a weekend pass, you can choose between sleeping in the indoor shared rooms or in your own tent.

Indoor accommodation is arranged in shared rooms of different sizes. Some rooms are smaller and host around five people: they are equipped with bunk beds or regular beds, and have a bathroom with toilet, sink, and hot shower. One larger room hosts up to 15 people and has low wooden pallets with mattresses on top. It is close to the main location, where you can find two bathrooms with toilets and sinks.

Showers: Hot showers are located in the nearby swimming pool (outdoor) and inside the small shared rooms. If you’re sleeping in the large room or camping, you’ll need to use those spaces to take a hot shower. If you’re staying in a small shared room, please keep in mind that the shower will be used by other guests too: we all cooperate together to keep things running smoothly.

If you’re choosing the Tent Pass, you’ll sleep in your own tent or van in the shaded woodland area next to the main house. You’ll have access to compost toilets, a cold outdoor sink and shower, and you can also use the hot indoor showers located in the small rooms.

Unless you have specific needs or requests that you communicate to us in advance, indoor sleeping spots will be chosen on a first come, first serve basis.

Please see our accessibility statement for accessibility needs or particular requirements, please write to us: we’ll do everything we can to accommodate you.
