Crème de la Connection
Sept 18-21, 2025
Pielenhofen, Germany (near Regensburg)
A spacious sleep-away retreat at a riverside monastery filled with fusion dance, connection games, skillshares, all-levels instruction—and a sane schedule that won’t leave you destroyed afterwards. ❤️🫂😴

Why do we dance fusion?
For many, the answer is “connection.” But what exactly is connection?
At this retreat, we’ll explore the idea of connection through movement, games, sharing, working alongside each other, and of course, lots of dancing. We won’t find all the answers, but together, we can skim the crème.
What’s different about this weekend?
- 🛌 An all-inclusive sleep-away experience with privacy— rooms with just 2-4 beds.
- 🥱 A schedule that ends around midnight! If you ever dreamed of a fusion weekend that prioritizes sleep and well-being, your dream has come true.
- 🗓️ 3 hours of all-group dance and connection activities on Saturday and Sunday.
- 🧑🏽🎤 4 total hours of beginner-friendly fusion dance classes with Flouer Evelyn, plus higher-level classes with other teachers.
- 🛟 Optional mentorship for beginners: get paired with a more experienced dancer.
- 🍽️ Community powered: everyone contributes 1-2 hours of kitchen help or clean-up.
- 🚝 Optional Thursday night arrival with a DIY Friday.
- 🏞️ A beautiful, swimmable river within walking distance.
What’s our vision?
If you can’t tell by the name, the theme for this weekend is “How do we connect?” This includes both on and off the dance floor. We’ll be offering plenty of non-dancing games and skill shares as well as social dance time and classes.
Many festivals prioritize catering to dancers who have a few years of dancing under their belt, but at this festival our goal is to connect with everyone! We want to welcome new dancers into the fusion community by offering a class track specifically for them, alongside other classes for more experienced dancers. This event is perfect for your friend who you’ve been dying to introduce to your vibrant world of fusion dancing.

ACTIVITIES
We have an array of dance and non-dance activities for you, based on our theme of connection.
Connection Games
Drawn from the worlds of outdoor education, teambuilding, improv comedy, and authentic relating, the games will include playful messing around, reflective contemplation, hugging, eye contact, and vulnerable sharing. We’ll frequently use our bodies, but athleticism is not required. Some games will be loud, some will be quiet, some might make you cry—and all will leave you feeling more connected to yourself and the other participants.
Hosted by Blake Boles

Yoga Mornings
Eli will be your guide through the transition from restful nights into active days full of dance, connection and fun. Their morning sessions offer a gentle space to awaken the body through meditation, breathwork and yoga-inspired movement.
Hosted by Elia Rhinne

Dance: Essentials Track
Welcome one and all!
