about us

Here in Turin we have been throwing monthly fusion parties for a year now—and it’s been stellar. 🌟

We’ve pulled in dancers from blues, forró, balfolk, lindy hop and contact improv, and somehow we just have a blast together.

We are a diverse group who likes to party! 🥳

Come to The Fusion Nest Festival for some wild nights, deep learning, sweaty songs, and those “how did we just become best friends?” connection moments…

all fueled by delicious Italian food from our chef, surrounded by the wooded nature of the pre-Alps.

We are a small festival – but mighty! 💪

Full of feel good experiences, and real connections that last.

Your Turin Crew!

DJ MARINÊS

FORRÓ INTO BRAZILIAN FUSION
- SATURDAY AFTERNOON -

Maria Inês, aka DJ Marinês, is a Portuguese-born dj and vinyl collector based in Turin, and a key figure in the city's Brazilian music scene. Her connection to Northeast Brazil took root in Lisbon through Forró dance, leading her to become resident dj and vice-president of Forró di Torino. Her sets move fluidly between traditional Forró, especially the sounds of the '70s, and broader Brazilian rhythms, creating warm atmospheres that evolve from intimate listening moments into vibrant dancefloor experiences.

DJ ULSA

LA FUSIONE DJ - SATURDAY NIGHT

She started djing 15 years ago, playing bass-driven, eclectic sets in clubs across Europe. Recently she has brought that experience into the fusion dance scene, exploring a wide range of rhythms while staying rooted in electronic music. She likes to add occasional surprises by mixing two songs in real time, to add emotional shifts within a dance: fusing music to fuse dances more!

DJ Falco

LA FUSIONE DJ - SATURDAY NIGHT

Falco's selection of music provides a mosaic of fresh, hypnotic sounds, ever shifting to create atmospheres that grow and transform over time. He seeks the groove wherever it hides, in downtempo as much as in techno, among Latin percussion as in the sharpest breaks, turning each set into a journey toward unexpected territories, sparking curiosity and a desire to travel.

LIZÉA

LIVE MUSIC SET - FRIDAY NIGHT

Lizéa has been a flutist for over 30 years, with a classical background before discovering folk music 10 years ago and the fusion scene 5 years ago. Their main instrument is the chromatic flute, and in their new project they also incorporate MIDI keyboard and computer-assisted music. A versatile singer, they bring a powerful, grounded voice to their music, blending traditional and pop influences, with a focus on music for partner dancing.

DJ Greta K.

INTERNATIONAL FUSION DJ

A passionate music lover and fusion dancer, Greta K. (Milena, she/her) is known for her expertly curated sets blending electronic beats with deep, expressive moments. Resident DJ and co-organizer of Flow Fusion Dance Night, she's been shaping the Barcelona scene since 2017, spinning at top fusion events across Europe and New York. Her DJ style blends energetic moments with softer, sensual ones, depending on the dance floor's mood.

DJ FLOW

KIZOMBA INTO FUSION DJ
- SUNDAY AFTERNOON -

A versatile artist whose love for Afro-American dance culture runs deep, he brings that same passion behind the decks with a Kizomba djset designed for the fusion floor. Blending traditional Kizomba sounds with a wider musical palette, his sets invite dancers to explore and mix different dance elements through music.
